EVENT RENTAL CONTRACT

Terms and Conditions


DEFINITIONS:

Facility Description

THE HALL AT 30 MOUNTAIN VIEW is also known as MILL VALLEY SCOUT HALL, and/or SCOUT HALL.

Main Hall: approximately 51’ x 45’, (2,500 square feet, including vestibule): Maximum occupancy is 250 standing, 150 floor seating, 120 dining (15 eight-person round tables are provided).

Catering kitchen: Use of kitchen is included in the evening rental fee of the main Hall.  The kitchen is also available for rent without the rent of the main Hall.

Upstairs Meeting Room:  approximately 18’ x 14’, seating capacity 11 people

Contract

The term “CONTRACT” refers to the rental agreement between the parties, the RENTER and THE HALL (as those terms are defined below).  By signing this CONTRACT, the RENTER agrees to comply with the terms set forth in this CONTRACT, including the

  • General Provisions
  • Rules & Regulations
  • Fee Schedule
  • Hold Harmless Agreement
  • Facility Rental Application

This CONTRACT contains all the terms agreed to by the parties relating to its subject matter. It replaces all previous discussions, understandings, and agreements.

Renter

The term “RENTER” is the person(s) and/or organization(s) entering into this CONTRACT.  If the RENTER is a group of individuals or an organization, the person signing this CONTRACT on behalf of the group or organization expressly represents and warrants s/he has authority to enter into this CONTRACT on behalf of the group or organization.

The Hall

“THE HALL,” defined in the Facility Description above, also refers to Mill Valley Scout Hall, Inc., a California Non Profit Corporation, including any and all employees, officers and directors, attorneys, volunteers, and other agents of Mill Valley Scout Hall, Inc.  THE HALL may be represented in the execution of this CONTRACT by a Facility Manager.
